Way to cap off an annoying game. Man, I can't help but wonder if it's time to stop thinking of Beckett as our "second ace". On the other hand, the bullpen looked good...
Too many comments in that last thread. Game 2 discussion can go here.
Felix Hernandez is at 67 pitches after 7IP. 3 H, 0 BB; no more than 4 pitches per batter (nope - just threw #6 to Rivera - but got the K). Hasn't thrown more than 9 pitches in an inning since the 3rd.
I won't be able to comment on Game 2. I'm heading out for a while. Great game for Papi.
ReplyDeleteDino is at game 2.
Sweet, then it's just me. ROCK ON.
ReplyDeleteWell not quite yet.
ReplyDeleteHey for good times check out the TB box score for today.....
Unfortunately "She's All That" and "The Highlander" are both on tv, so I'm conflicted.
ReplyDeleteWow. And poor Elarton - his ERA's better than Beckett's and The Units's, and he has 8 losses.
ReplyDeleteJeez, I had not even focused on him. I was focusing on the 6 HR performance by Team X'ers.
ReplyDeleteTough luck for Elarton, but then again Mussina and Schilling combined have more wins than the entire KC team.
tough TV choices. You can probably catch the end of the LAA-SEA game.
Yeah, I noticed all the HR; I didn't realize they were all on your fantasy team. Nice.
ReplyDeleteLAA-SEA: 6-1 now.
ReplyDeletePauley: not looking good.
ReplyDeleteChristopher Lambert: kickin' ass, as usual.
So you opted for Highlander, huh.
ReplyDeleteYeah Pauley looks more like Pauly Shore.

ReplyDeleteAh yes, this is John Wasdin we all know and love.
ReplyDeleteI actually wrote that sarcastically, when he pitched 5 innings of 3-H, no-run ball. But now - this looks about right.
