I was watching some fun highlights today and there was something funny I noticed about Rivera. It seems that whenever he gives up a big hit that costs him, he has these excruciating expressions on his face as if looking to the field and thinking someone should catch that ball. Of course there was his famous one that he mouthed to (I think) Lofton "Catch the Ball" on a ball that was close, but nowhere near routine. This repeated itself this week on a couple of the Sox hits in the third game - on balls that were clearly hits as well as his first glance at A-Rod on his play. Just found it interesting. Almost as if when he gives it up, it shouldn't be his fault.
