I know why most Yankee fans are so ignorant

It has to be from listening to YES. No wonder their fans think the Yanks are so great. The guys on YES tell them for three hours every day. I would swear it is the Yankees who are up by 6 games and have the best record in baseball.

  1. The Sox lineup is really pathetic without Manny.

Schilling is pitching a great game, and the Sox can't get anything out of the infield again...

  2. As I typed that...NESN shows a stat saying the Sox are hitting .149 in the series.

  3. Well hey Wang has a no hitter through 5

  4. and clemens had a no hitter through five last night.

but its funny, the media act like clemens dominated. he only had two k's. he walked 5 guys. beckett may have even pitched better - the first 3 runs came on ground balls and bleeders.

  5. I know that Clemens and Wang are good, but two no-hitters through 5???

  6. and, and Francona has to get some blame for leaving both dice-k and beckett in too long. i know you want to give your veterans a chance to win the game, but if it was october I highly doubt he would have let either guy stay in the game.

  7. I agree with them staying in too long. It isn't like the bullpen has been taxed. Everyone out there is/was ready to go.

Clemens had a larger strike zone than Beckett, too, and still only threw 56 strikes.

Meanwhile, Robinson "Babe Ruth" Cano is lighting up Schill...

  8. This no hitter is getting interesting.

  9. I might start rooting for the Yankees...

Seriously, though...Wang has 4 walks so far. Yet this pathetic offense can't get anything going.

  10. yeah this could be one of those that wang can lost the no hitter and the game in the blink of an eye. a walk an XBH and then a HR.

  11. or maybe a jeter error, a walk and a HR.

  12. Well, there goes the no-no...

Let's see if Drew swing the bat now...

  13. the sox are gonna get screwed on this.

  14. That was a close call...too close to overturn on a conference. If the 3rd base umpire didn't call it originally, I don't know how someone not on top of the play could make that call.

  15. And now it is trouble.

My guess is that Joba pitches the eight and Rivera the ninth...

Joba should have an easy go of it against Hinkse and Cora...

Of course, on the bad call. Youk really should have stopped and fallen down once Rodriguez committed. Then Lowell and Drew are safe...

  16. It probably was the right call, but yeah they should get it the first time. Mo has pitched two in a row, I wonder if they use him today.

Thankfully curt got abreu out, I would hated to have seen a-rod come up again.

  17. Forget A-Rod...what about Cano?

Here's Joba. I wasn't that impressed in his last outing. He has good breaking stuff...but if they were more aggressive they would have scored.

  18. Well, there's easy out number one...and easy out number two.

Maybe Papi will tie it in the ninth after Crisp gets on...

  19. Well, now Papi won't see anything to hit leading off the ninth.

  20. Joba's trying to play the hero. Interesting.
