Speaking of Dave Roberts...

Here's a question: before the Most Important Steal in Baseball History, was Millar's walk the Most Important Walk in Baseball History?

I think we need a Bill James to work for us. At the very least, how much would it cost for full access to baseball stats?

  1. Good question. Although the walk was kind of incidental. I’m sure there are other big plays or runners that scored big winning runs that had reached base via walk.

    I’ll bet Rickey Henderson would say that his walk to pass the Babe was the best ever. Just like he was.
