  1. Two thoughts for the day after X-mas:

Jayson Stark with some serious love for future HOF'er Joba:

After arriving in the Bronx in August, Joba Chamberlain pitched 24 innings, faced 91 hitters, blew zero leads, gave up only one earned run and threw just one wild pitch. Then the dreaded Lake Erie midges came into his life (not to mention his nostrils, eyeballs and earlobes) in October -- and six hitters into his postseason career, he'd already blown a save, given up an earned run and thrown two wild pitches. So where was the Sultan of Swat when the Yankees really needed him?

And Roger is going to give his exclusive interview to Mike Wallace - frequent visitor to Steinbrenner's box and unabashed Yankee fan. What, Billy Crystal was not available? If 60 minutes wants to remain at all credible, they will have McNamee on as well and he will challenge Rog to testify under oath or take a lie detector. Should make for good TV.
